Description
Austria Wirtschaftsservice (aws) is the promotional bank of the Austrian federal government. Among its funding and financing instruments, its Equity Programs and Connecting Services strengthen Austria’s business angel and venture capital ecosystem by mobilising private capital across different levels of the market.
These activities include co-investments alongside Business Angels and angel investor consortia through aws Start-up Invest, guarantees that leverage equity investments by Business Angels and VC investors, and LP investments in VC funds through the aws Venture Capital Initiative. aws is also responsible for selecting the independent manager of Austria’s new fund-of-funds.
Dusan Todorovic played a key role in the design and tender process of aws Start-up Invest and leads aws Connect Network, which connects startups with more than 440 Business Angels, VC funds and Family Offices.
