Description
CEO, Deep Tech Foundry (formerly Acceler8)
Antti Heikkilä is CEO of Deep Tech Foundry, a leading deep tech venture builder and an European Innovation Council Partner. Antti and the team have raised over €150M in funding and worked with more than 200 top professors and researchers, turning their research into scalable, investable companies across quantum technology, medical and pharma tech, and next-generation cooling.
He is the main architect of Ventures Thrive, an EIC-funded venture builder that invested in and supported the growth of 32 companies, which collectively raised €18M in follow-on funding and grew their combined valuations by €2M.
Antti also coordinates Q-AIM, built to establish Europe's quantum investment infrastructure. Q-AIM connects quantum research groups and deep tech founders with the specialist capital, industrial partners, and go-to-market networks needed to take quantum technologies from lab to scalable venture — addressing a gap where strong quantum research has historically struggled to find investors who understand the technology and its long development timelines.
Currently, Antti is ramping up Stratomics.ai, that is tackling one of precision medicine's core bottlenecks: fragmented, siloed multi-omics and clinical data across health systems that cannot currently be responsibly connected, accessed, or reused at scale. The venture is building the infrastructure and governance model to unlock this data for drug discovery, diagnostics, and personalized treatment. Recently, EIC made a seed injection to the endeavor under the OMICS-STRATA action.
With a track record of converting public funding into real venture outcomes and follow-on private capital, Antti will share what actually moves the needle when public and private capital meet at the deep tech gap stage.
