Philippe Rase is a committed leader in innovation, investment, and the strategic development of technology and DeepTech companies. With more than 30 years of experience in American tech - at Air Products, HP, and later HPE - he has held international roles in Belgium, the United Kingdom, Australia, and France, covering R&D, services, product development, operations, strategic planning, marketing, and sales. This diverse background has given him a deep understanding of technology markets, innovation ecosystems, and global transformation dynamics.
A business angel since 2005, Philippe has spent the past twenty years supporting startups and scale‑ups in their growth strategies, fundraising, and operational structuring. A founding member of French Tech in the Alps – Grenoble and a member of its executive committee since 2017, he works closely with DeepTech, climate companies, sits on the boards of several startups, and collaborates with incubators, investor networks, and institutional stakeholders committed to sustainable innovation.
Philippe is Co‑President of France Angels since 2025 and President of Grenoble Angels since 2022. He mentors and supports local startups, primarily in digital technologies (B2B, IoT, AI, software solutions, mobile applications), and currently sits on seven supervisory boards or strategic advisory boards of French digital startups.
As a speaker, Philippe regularly shares insights on business angel investing, fundraising, entrepreneurship, technology and startup development, innovation, and sustainability. He is recognized for his ability to connect ecosystems — entrepreneurs, corporates, investors, and institutions — and to help transform ambitious technological projects into solid, responsible, and value‑creating companies.
