Description

CRIPTIA is developing a deep-tech Digital Pest Intelligence platform, adding a new intelligence layer for facility-management systems to protect public health and critical infrastructure. The platform brings multiple pest-monitoring modalities into a single point of monitoring, control and decision support. Its first commercial application, AEGIS, provides continuous rodent monitoring through purpose-built sensing hardware, wireless connectivity and cloud infrastructure, including where conventional monitoring is difficult or provides limited visibility. It enables facility managers and pest-control professionals to shift from periodic inspection and reactive treatment to continuous, preventive and data-driven management, supporting targeted interventions and reducing unnecessary pesticide use. CRIPTIA integrates sensing and embedded hardware, connectivity, cloud data management, machine learning and organism-specific digital models to transform biological activity and facility conditions into actionable intelligence. Its AI layer is designed to identify patterns, assess risk and support increasingly predictive decision-making as real-world data accumulates across sites and pest categories. Commercial deployments already span food production, retail, hospitality, logistics and maritime environments, while a second modality for crawling insects is currently at MVP stage. As deployments scale, CRIPTIA aims to capitalise on a unique layer of real-world pest data, connecting multiple monitoring modalities and opening opportunities in smart-facility integration, predictive pest intelligence and research. The multidisciplinary team combines pest-management expertise, engineering and sensing, data/AI and commercial scaling experience, and has taken the technology from R&D to industrial production and commercial deployment.
