THIER: AI health-risk Intelligence for Healthier, more Resilient Workforces
THIER is building the AI-enabled health-risk intelligence platform that helps employers and insurers prevent costly lifestyle-related disease before it becomes a clinical, financial and workforce-resilience problem.
Across Europe, employers face rising health-insurance claims, absenteeism, presenteeism and productivity loss driven by preventable conditions including obesity, type 2 diabetes and musculoskeletal disorders.
Yet most corporate wellness solutions remain fragmented, reactive and difficult to measure. They offer generic benefits and engagement programmes, but do not tell an employer where future health risk is accumulating, which interventions will work, or whether investment is delivering a financial return.
THIER changes this. Our mobile and web platform combines clinically validated risk assessments, wearable and activity data, nutrition and lifestyle inputs. And with appropriate consent workforce indicators such as absence patterns.
It converts these signals into an explainable early-warning system that identifies lifestyle-disease and musculoskeletal risk before it develops into higher claims, reduced performance or preventable absence.
For employees, THIER provides a clear, personalised understanding of their health risk and practical, AI-enabled support to build sustainable healthier habits.
For employers, occupational-health teams and insurers, THIER provides anonymised, real-time population insights across organisation, location and department levels, enabling targeted prevention programmes and measurement of health, productivity and cost outcomes.
Unlike a conventional wellness app, THIER is being built as an enterprise health-risk intelligence platform. Our product roadmap combines explainable AI, consent-led data use, privacy-conscious design and workforce-level analytics to help decision-makers understand emerging health risks, target preventive programmes and measure progress against health, productivity and cost objectives.
THEIR’s team has built an MVP, undertaken more than 200 customer and stakeholder interviews, and is supported through NVIDIA, Google and Microsoft startup programmes. The company is raising £1.5 million in pre-seed funding to strengthen its platform, deliver 3–5 paid employer pilots with organisations of 1,000–5,000 employees, and convert early customers into scalable enterprise accounts.
Our ambition is to make preventable health risk visible, actionable and economically measurable. Helping employers build healthier, more resilient and more productive workforces.
